Subsurface understanding

Exploration

Geological mapping, core drilling, trenching, and 3D deposit modelling to support resource estimation to KCMI and JORC standards.

From fieldwork to data

Field samples help build an understanding of subsurface conditions.

Core drilling and sample records produce information that needs to remain traceable. Sampling positions, material conditions, and sample sequences all contribute to how the data is interpreted.

Methods, depths, sample intervals, and testing requirements remain aligned with each project scope and technical documentation.

Technical notes

Methods and data used in exploration work.

Technical scope follows each project’s requirements and documents. These are the capabilities and steps described in ABM’s portfolio.

Exploration methods
Topographic and structural geology mapping, infill and confirmatory core drilling, and trenching according to the work scope.
Drilling specifications
Jacro 175, 200, 240, and 400 rigs cover different depth ranges in the guide up to 450 m. Rig selection follows site conditions and technical review.
Sampling standards
Sampling positions, material conditions, and sequence are recorded so drilling results remain traceable. Intervals and testing follow the project documents.
Modelling & resource estimation
Micromine Origin, Geovia Surpac, and Minescape support 3D deposit modelling and resource estimation to KCMI/JORC standards.
